Birmingham Magicians To Reschedule December Games

Birmingham Magicians News Release
Birmingham, AL., The Birmingham Magicians; currently ranked #13 in the ABA Pit Bull Power Rankings; announced today that the team is rescheduling the remaining December home and away games due to several opponents suspending operations for the year. The ABA announced recently that Chattanooga, Nashville and Georgia will not play the rest of the season due to not meeting league requirements. Because of this the teams in Birmingham's division are rescheduling games and expect to release the new schedule by December 19, 2005.
David Sayers, Director of Basketball Operations for the Magicians said he is working with the remaining teams in the Southeast division to get the revised schedule completed. "It has been quite unfortunate that the franchises of Chattanooga, Nashville and The Reigning Knights of Georgia were unable to complete the season. But this will allow the remaining teams of Florida, Atlanta, Charlotte, Mississippi, Richmond, Birmingham and the ABA league office to work together to adjust schedules and finish the season united."
All Magicians home and away games originally scheduled for the month of December will be rescheduled to dates in 2006. The Birmingham Magicians will tip-off the 2006 New Year with a brand new schedule and look forward to providing a fan-pleasing entertainment experience for all!
