Bingo and Faith & Family Lead Pivotal Home Weekend
March 23, 2016 - North American Hockey League (NAHL)
Corpus Christi IceRays News Release
CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS - The Corpus Christi IceRays return home for the first of two final weekends during the 2015-16 regular season to take on the Odessa Jackalopes this Friday and Saturday at 7:11 p.m. from the American Bank Center.
Friday opens the weekend with the first ever Bingo Night at the IceRays. Fans can play a live game of Bingo over the course of the hockey game and win cash prizes. Those looking to play can donate $5 and receive three Bingo cards in the concourse up through the first period. Bingo will start at the drop of the second period and last until the first person in-arena has won. The winner receives $150 in cash, and all proceeds from Bingo will go to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital. The evening is also a Frosty Friday with $1 beer and soda available throughout the evening.
Saturday night is the return of Faith & Family Night, presented by TLC Complete Care and Ingleside Dentistry. Enjoy a night of faith and friendship on the eve of Easter Sunday with the Corpus Christi community. A Shepherd's Song, a local Christian group from Calvary Chapel of the Coastlands, will be performing throughout the evening and following the game. No extra ticket or cost is necessary. Saturday is also a Corpus Christi Caller-Times Family 4-Pack Night, meaning fans can purchase four tickets, four hot dogs, and four sodas for just $46. Both games will be followed by a post-game skate, presented by Braselton Homes.
This weekend could decide the playoff hopes for the IceRays in their battle with their direct opponent for the final remaining playoff spot in the South Division. If the IceRays sweep the weekend, they'll need just three points (or three points lost by Odessa) in their final four games to clinch a playoff spot. If the two teams split, the IceRays will need to earn one more point than Odessa in their final four games. If the Jackalopes sweep the weekend, the IceRays must earn three more points than Odessa for the rest of the season. Tickets are available at www.Ticketmaster.com or the American Bank Center Box Office. For group rates, call the IceRays at 361-814-PUCK.
There are just four games remaining to redeem unused partial or season tickets! Submit your request at www.goicerays.com or stop by the IceRays Front Office. Contact the IceRays Front Office at 361-814-PUCK or go to www.goicerays.com for details on season tickets along with pricing and seating.
