Guns & Hoses Plus Prizes Galore for Fan Appreciation Night on April 2

JOHNSTOWN - The Johnstown Tomahawks will show their faithful fans how much they appreciate them as the team will celebrate Fan Appreciation Night at the Cambria County War Memorial Arena, Saturday, April 2 when the Tomahawks host the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Knights

Throughout the game, over $5,000 in prizes, including the popular "Shirts-Off-Our-Back," will be given to lucky fans during and immediately following the game. The event will also coincide with the fourth annual Guns & Hoses charity hockey game, which takes place at 4:30 p.m.

"The Tomahawks have an incredibly dedicated and loyal fan base and we are indebted to all of our great fans," Tomahawks president Richard Bouchard said. "We are thrilled to plan a night devoted to thanking our fans, honor local heroes and applaud them for their continued support."

The first 2,000 fans will receive a commemorative "Thank You" poster and are eligible to randomly win prizes and gifts. All prize winners will be randomly selected during the game and announced over the public address system.

Fan Appreciation Night prizes include gift certificates from local restaurants and stores, Tomahawks gift certificates, autographed Tomahawks merchandise and equipment, Hockeyville memorabilia, Planet Ice skating passes, Westwood plaza movie tickets, free pizzas courtesy of Dominos and many more.

Additionally, the Tomahawks will provide fans the chance to win Tomahawks game-worn jerseys with a "Shirts-Off-Our-Back" celebration at the end of the game. Tomahawks players will present their game-worn sweaters to lucky fans on the ice to thank them for their support throughout the season.

Prior to the game Saturday, the Johnstown Tomahawks Foundation will host the fourth annual Guns & Hoses charity hockey game presented by Firehouse Subs between Johnstown Firefighters and Police in a battle of the badges. Faceoff is at 4:30 p.m. with gates opening at 4 .m. Proceeds from this event benefit the Special Olympics of Western Pennsylvania.

The Tomahawks conclude the regular season with two home games Friday, April 1 and Saturday, April 2 at the War Memorial when they host Wilkes-Barre/Scranton. Both games start at 7 p.m.
