Biloxi Shuckers to Host Mississippi State Night on Friday, August 12

BILOXI, MS - The Biloxi Shuckers, in coordination with Mississippi State University, are thrilled to announce the addition of 'Mississippi State Night' to their promotional schedule for Friday, August 12, when the Shuckers take on the Rocket City Trash Pandas at 6:35 pm.

"We've had the opportunity to partner with Mississippi State on many occasions, including hosting Mississippi State baseball for the Hancock Whitney Classic this past March," said Biloxi Shuckers General Manger Hunter Reed. "With football season just around the corner, this is a fantastic way to give State fans on the Gulf Coast a pre-season rallying point and celebrate the upcoming year."

The first 500 fans will receive a special 'Shuckers X State' t-shirt when gates open at 5:30 pm for a 6:35 pm first pitch. The Mississippi State athletic department will also be set up on the concourse with giveaways throughout the night. It's also another Fireworks Friday with postgame fireworks. Tickets start as low as $8 and can be purchased online at biloxishuckers.com.

The Shuckers continue their six-game road trip on Thursday night against the Mississippi Braves at Trustmark Park. The game can be seen on MiLB.TV and heard locally on WGCM AM 1240/FM 100.9 or online here.
