Billhardt, Dengler Named to USL League One Team of the Week

STATESBORO, Ga. - South Georgia Tormenta FC defender Jake Dengler and midfielder Adrian Billhardt were named to USL League One's Team of the Week for Week Twelve. Both Dengler and Billhardt have now been featured twice in USL's League One team of the week. Dengler scored South Georgia's first home goal of the season following a pristine corner kick pass from Adrian Billhardt.

Adding to Dengler's goal in the 13th minute, a clutched-up through ball from the 6-foot-5 defender assisted Kingsford Adjei for the equalizer in the latter portion of the second half. Dengler also helped shut out Madison through the first half of the encounter and ended the match with three clearances.

Billhardt continues to prove why he is one of the most ingenious midfielders in the league; an assist and a chance created for Billhardt shows how significant his presence is for Tormenta FC. Despite team injuries, Billhardt continues to be a spark on the offensive unit.

Following Sunday's result, Tormenta FC returns to Erk Russell Park to take on USL League One winner's Union Omaha this Saturday, June 25, at 7:30 p.m. ET.
