RENO, NEV.- The Reno Bighorns got a 98-94 win against the Fort Wayne Mad Ants Wednesday night, completing a two-game sweep in Reno. Andre Emmett led the Bighorns with 23 points and seven rebounds and Blake Ahearn tallied 19 points and five assists. Mad Ants were led by Ron Howard with a game-high 32 points.

The Bighorns used a strong effort in the paint, winning the rebounding battle 53 to 36 and outscoring the Mad Ants 56 to 36 in the painted area.

Terrance Thomas played tough for the Bighorns with 18 points and seven rebounds while Bobby Simmons neared a double-double with 10 points and nine rebounds. Hassan Whiteside continued his strong play with seven points, eight rebounds and four blocked shots in the win.

The Bighorns play again at the Reno Events Center on Friday night against the Los Angeles D-Fenders, the NBA D-League affiliate of the Los Angeles Lakers. The game marks the return of former head coach Eric Musselman, who now coaches the D-Fenders.
