Reno - Reno Bighorns play strong against the Utah Flash after a dismal loss last night. They played to fans expectations, with an attendance of 3,402, they came to see a third quarter explosion and a final score of 104-93.
Starting out slow in the first quarter, the Bighorns were able to narrow the gap to one at the end of the first half, Flash 49-48.
Gerry McNamara's three point shooting allowed the Bighorns to widen the lead at the end of the third quarter. With momentum on their side, they cruised to a solid victory with the score of 104-93.
Damone Brown and Patrick Ewing Jr. each had 26 points and double digit rebounds, Brown with 12 and Ewing with 11. McNamara added 20 points as well, all three combined to score 72 of the Bighorns 104 points.
Dontell Jefferson led the way for the Flash with 21 points, followed by Andre Ingram's 16. Flash forward, Carlos Wheeler was ejected in the second quarter, after receiving 2 technicals.
