
Bighorns Acquire NBA Veteran Damon Jones

RENO, NEV.- The Reno Bighorns have acquired NBA veteran guard Damon Jones, it was announced today. He will bring his 11 years of NBA experience to the Bighorns roster.
During his time in the NBA, Jones (6-3, 190 lbs.) averaged 6.6 points and 2.7 assists per game, including 11.6 points per game with the Miami Heat during the 2004-05 season. During that season, he ranked third in the NBA in three-point field goals made (225) and was ranked fifth in three-point field goal percentage (43.2%).
Jones is also known for his time playing with Lebron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers when they made a run to the NBA Finals in 2007.
Fans can see Jones in action when the Bighorns tip-off against the Iowa Energy on Wednesday at 7 p.m. at the Reno Events Center as part of the NBA D-League Showcase.
