Big Third Period Launches River Drivers over Bulldogs, 11-6

Berlin, NH - Seven unanswered goals lead the Berlin River Drivers to a 11-6 victory over the visiting Brewster Bulldogs on Sunday night at Notre Dame Arena.

Berlin started the scoring in the first with a goal by Jay Croop on a pass from Tyler Prendergast at 1:18 in the opening frame. Berlin would continue with a second goal by Tom Tracy at 9:18 to put the River Drivers up 2-0 in the middle of the first.

Brewster would split the difference late in the opening period before Berlin's Mike Henrici barried a pass from Andre Neic to close out the period up 3-1.

The second periord was dominated by the Bulldogs scoring five unanswered goals after Berlin opened the scoring in the period with a goal by Tyler Prendergast. It was all River Drivers after Brewster's John Scully's goal to put the Bulldogs up 6-4 near the end of the second, all Berlin recorded one more in the second by Tyler Prendergast and six more in the third to seal the victory for the River Drivers.

Berlin's third period goals were recorded by Jiri Pestuka, Brantley Sherwood, Tyler Prendergast, Stephen Gallo, and Tom Tracy.

Berlins Ryan Donovan took home the win after taking over for Paul Bourbeau Jr in the second period by stopping all twelve shots faces. Paul Bourbeau Jr stopped 13 of 19 shots. Brewsters Jeromy Semtner took the loss stopping 40 of 51 shots.
