Big Game Weekend - Jr. Blues Vs. Topeka

Springfield Jr. Blues News Release
The NAHL Southern Division, 2nd place Topeka Roadrunners are in town for two games against the Blues.
Topeka is full of veteran players, many of which cames from the disbanded Texas Tornado team. They have been tough to beat at home and almost as potent on the road. In two meetings with the Blues at Topeka, the Roadrunners have eked out wins both times.
As for the Blues, they have been one goal away from being one of the top teams in the league. With six one-goal losses and a very young team that seems to be getting better each game, it appears to be only a matter of time before they start hitting on all eight cylinders and winning their share of games. A win or two this weekend would be huge for our young team, along with a giant confidence booster.
Game time on both Friday and Saturday nights is 7:30 pm. Tonight's game will feature a Halloween costume contest between periods as well as free candy for all trick or treater's. Saturday night is Southern View School Night. Don't miss all the exciting action!!
