
Beutel Wins Rawlings Gold Glove Award

CLINTON, IOWA- Clinton LumberKings' reliever Ben Beutel has won the Rawlings Gold Glove Award, for the best defensive pitcher in college baseball.
Beutel wins the award after a sensational season at the University of Iowa. Not only did the lefty pickoff nine runners, he delivered on the mound with an ERA of 1.74 in 29 appearances.
Beutel is just the second Hawkeye ever to win the award.
In 2022 the lefty has posted a 1.80 ERA and has struck out 23 for Clinton in his first four appearances on the mound.
