TULSA, Okla. (May 24, 2011) - New Orleans VooDoo WR/KR PJ Berry was named the AFL's Russell Athletic Co-Offensive Player of the Week, announced the league office on Tuesday afternoon.

The award marks the third weekly accolade that Berry has received from the AFL this season. He was named the NiftyTV Player of the Week following a Week 1 contest against Tampa Bay, and also picked up JLS Ironman of the Week recognition versus Pittsburgh in Week 7.

Berry's award comes after a 339 all-purpose yards performance against the Arizona Rattlers in Week 11. The 339 yards (185 KR 154 Rcv) set the VooDoo record for most all-purpose yards in a single-game. Berry has had 200-plus all-purpose yards in six of the VooDoo's 10 games this season.

The Hopewell, Va. native stands atop the AFL in all-purpose yards (2,169) and all-purpose yards average per game (216.9).

The VooDoo travel this week to take on the Philadelphia Soul (3-7). Kickoff is set for 6:05 p.m. CDT.
