
Bennett Koupal Has Announced his Commitment to Play Division III Hockey at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point

The Aberdeen Wings, proud members of the North American Hockey League, are pleased to announce that Bennett Koupal has announced his commitment to play Division III hockey at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point!
Koupal, a 6'1" 192 lbs left-shot forward from Sioux Falls, SD, had just participated in his second year with the Aberdeen Wings. This season, he was named Assistant Captain for the Wings, and in 58 games, he had 6 goals, and 8 assists, for a total of 14 points.
"Excited to announce I will be going to Stevens Point to further my hockey career and education. Go Pointers" said Bennett Koupal.
Head Coach Scott Langer goes on to explain "Bennett was a heart and sole player from the time he arrived in Aberdeen. He took a lot of pride in being a great teammate and enhancing the culture here in Aberdeen. The Pointers get a special player in Bennett."
The Pointers went 21-6-2 this season under Head Coach Tyler Krueger and Assistant Coaches Bryan Kromm and Joey Haydog.
