Bennett and Vorberg Named to MASL Team of the Week

Your Six-Time Champion Milwaukee Wave are excited to announce that Nick Vorberg and Ian Bennett were named to the Major Arena Soccer League's Team of the Week for excellent play in last Saturday's 10-3 victory over the Waza Flo

MKE Wave Goalkeeper #0 Nick Vorberg recorded 17 saves on 20 shots, added an assist and earned the win while midfielder / forward #26 Ian Bennett led the Wave offense and electrified the home crowd by scoring a hat-trick (3 goals) in the win over Waza Flo.

Honorable mentions go out to midfielder #77 Marcio Leite who managed to score in every quarter of the game and defender #15 Tony Walls who added two goals against the Waza Flo.

Rounding out the rest of the Week 4 MASL Team of the Week are...

D -Pat Healey, Baltimore Blast: Helped keep the Syracuse Silver Knights off the scoreboard and added two assists in the 6-0 shutout win for the Blast.

D - Thiago Goncalves, Waza Flo: Scored the tying goal with three minutes to play versus Cedar Rapids Rampage and scoring a total of two goals on seven shots in the win.

M - Max Touloute, Missouri Comets: Recorded 5 goals and added 2 assists in two games this weekend leading the Comets to road victories over the Dallas Sidekicks and the Harrisburg Heat.

F - Derek Johnson, Tacoma Stars: Helped the Stars remain undefeated on the season including three wins, in three games, in three days, on the road in Turlock and Sacramento this past weekend. Scored a Hat-Trick vs Sacramento Surge.

Honorable Mention: GK-William Vanzela (Baltimore Blast), GK-Danny Waltman (Tacoma Stars), D-Tony Walls (Milwaukee Wave), D-Cody Ellis (Dallas Sidekicks), D-Damian Garcia (Soles De Sonora), M-Marcio Leite (Milwaukee Wave), M-Christian Segura (Soles De Sonora), M-Alexis Camarena (Chicago Mustangs), F-Efrain Martinez (Chicago Mustangs).
