
Bend Elks Fall to Medford 7-3

On the first road trip of the 2014 season the Bend Elks fell to the Medford Rouges 7-3 Monday night. Two Elk errors that led to three unearned runs contributed to the Elks loss. Rogue starting pitcher Brandon Erickson pitched seven solid innings giving up only six hits and one earned run while striking out Elks batters six times. Jo Carrol, Jon Brooks, along with pinch hitter Curtis Wildung, put on a show with the bats,. Brooks and Carrol both had two hits and a run scored each and Wildung drove in two runs with a hit. The series continues Tuesday night in Medford with the first pitch at 6:35 PM. Catch all the action at bendelks.com.
