Dennis Morton slugged a two-out, two-strike double in the top of the ninth inning to lift the Klamath Falls Gems to a come from behind 11-10 victory over the Bend Elks at Vince Genna Stadium in the final regular season game for both teams.

Bend meets Corvallis on Tuesday evening at Vince Genna Stadium in game one of the best of three game series. The winner of the series will take on the winner of the Bellingham-Yakima Valley semi-final in the West Coast League.

Kody Kohlman earned the victory for the visitors with two shutout innings of relief and Bend's sixth pitcher Michael Bennett absorbed the loss.

Morton had four hits, including two doubles, two RBIs and two runs scored for the Gems. Thomas Walker and Carson Breshears scored three runs each for Klamath Falls.

Trevor Achenbach had three hits, scored two runs and scored two bases for the Elks while Matt Dahlin and Justin Erlandson each stroked three hits for the locals.
