Bellingham Bells News Release
The Bellingham Bells are pleased to announce that the City of Bellingham and the Bellingham Bells will host the 2015 West Coast League (WCL) All-Star Game. This will be the eighth All-Star game in the league's history with the most recent games having been held in Klamath Falls, Ore. (2014), Victoria, B.C. (2013) and Walla Walla (2012).
"We are excited to have Bellingham as the host of the 2015 All-Star Game," West Coast League president Dennis Koho said. "As a community, Bellingham has continued to embrace college summer league baseball each and every year, and has proved that they are up to the challenge of hosting this very special event."
The All-Star Game will feature top talent from the West Coast League, which consists of 12 teams in Washington, Oregon and British Columbia. Bellingham will play host to the entire weekend of all-star festivities, including a home-run derby.
"We are honored to have been selected to host the 2015 WCL All-Star Game," said general manager Nick Caples. "This is a special and exciting opportunity to introduce Bellingham to the entire West Coast League. We are thrilled to be able to present an event that the entire community can be involved in."
