
Bellevue names team and coaching staff

Bellevue, WA. Puget Sound Sports and Entertainment, LLC, the parent company of the Puget Sound Sports Hall of Fame and Museum Founderation and the developer of sports arenas in Bellevue and Olympia, today announced that it's ABA professional basketball team has been named the BELLEVUE BLACKHAWKS. In addition, the team announced its coaching staff for the upcoming season that begins in November. They are:
Rick Turner, Head Coach/Director of Basketball Operations.
Rick had a nine-year career in the NBA Seattle Supersonics front office, was former Athletic Director and Head Basketball Coach of Bellevue Community College and NWAACC Region Coach of the Year in 2002.
Harold Wright, Assoicate Head Coach/Director of Player Personnel.
Harold was a former point guard at Washington State University and has played professional basketball.
Russ Schoene, Assistant Coach.
A nine-year NBA veteran, Russ was also an assistant coach at the University of Washington.
Eldridge Recasner, Assistant Coach.
Eldridge was also an NBA player for 9 years after playing at the University of Washington.
The Bellevue Blackhawks inaugural season will begin in November with 18 games being played at Bellevue Interlake Center at Interlake High School, 16245 NE 24th Street, Bellevue, WA 98008. Ticket prices range from $5 for students to $25 for courtside seats. Corporate sponsorships begin at $250.
