Bellevue Blackhawks advance to Final Four of ABA playoffs with all local players and coaches

(Bellevue, WA)—Forty-one teams started the 2004-05 American Basketball Association (ABA) season. Three remain. The #13 Bellevue Blackhawks travel to #5 Maryland on Tuesday, March 22nd. The two winners will meet at Arkansas to play for the ABA championship.

Earlier in the playoffs, the top-seeded Utah Snowbears defeated the defending ABA champions, the Long Beach Jam. On Monday, March 14th, Utah surprising withdrew from the ABA playoffs. The departure of Utah means the winner of next Tuesday's Bellevue--Maryland game will go to the American Basketball Association finals. Bellevue upset the Texas Tycoons in the first round of the playoffs, 101-94.
