Spokane Shock News Release
Spokane, WA: The Spokane Shock announced today that LB Beau Bell has been activated from Other League Exempt.
As a rookie last season, Bell (6-2 240) played a key role in Spokane's defense recording 51.5 tackles - including 8.5 for loss - with 5.5 sacks, three pass break-ups, three QB hurries, four forced fumbles and one blocked kick.
"This is big news to have a player like Beau Bell back on our active roster," General Manager Ryan Rigmaiden said. "Beau has the aggression and the passion that you need as a defensive player. He adds another dimension to our pass rush and our coverage packages. With a year of experience under his belt, we know that Beau will continue to improve."
Although the line-up for this weekend's game has not been finalized, Bell will be eligible to play. This Friday night Spokane will host the San Jose SaberCats for the "NET 10 Arena Football Friday" Arena Game of the Week on the NFL Network. Kick-off is set for 5 PM.
Great seats are still available for this week's game and can be purchased by contacting TicketsWest. Season tickets are also still available, for a prorated price, and can be purchased by contacting the Shock Ticket Office at 509 242 7462.
