NEW ORLEANS (March 28, 2012) - Earlier this week, we sat down with New Orleans VooDoo Doll Madriana for this week's "21 Questions with a VooDoo Doll" segment brought to you by Arata and Arata Law Offices. Madriana is a rookie on this year's team. Each and every game week, a VooDoo Doll will be featured, and this is the third installment of the 2012 season.
If you could hang out with any Kardashian, who would it be and why:
Khloe, she's funny and down to earth.
Heels, wedges, or flats and why:
I love wedges because they are heels but still are comfortable.
If you could have one super power, what would it be and why:
I would be a time traveler so I can see my future and visit my loved ones who have passed away.
Favorite song to listen to over and over:
"The Remedy" by Jason Mraz. This is a feel good song that can make any terrible day, the best day ever!
Favorite female celebrity and why:
Ellen DeGeneres! She's from New Orleans, loves the Saints, and is a great dancer!
Do you have a nickname:
I have so many and they all start with the letter M!!! MeMe, Mena, Mena Me, Mexi, Mex, Madri, and so on and so on!
Nobody knows how much you like to:
Sing! Even though I sound like nails on a chalk board.
Favorite cartoon show growing up:
Rugrats!! I have a twin brother and we were Phil and Lil!
Outside of VooDoo games/appearances what is your occupation:
I am a full-time college student and mother to a beautiful 6 month old baby girl.
Favorite candy:
Tropical Jolly Rancher fruit chews. They are hard to find; I've just been seeing the original flavors lately. I hope they are not discontinued; they are the best!
Favorite game on Nintendo/Sega:
Super Mario Brothers 3. I'm proud to say I ended the game and saved everyone from Bowser.
What did you want to be when you grew up:
I wanted to be a background dancer for Brittney Spears, I loved her!
If you could go on a date with Bones or MoJo, who would it be:
I will go with Bones, Mojo is too hairy!
80's music or 90's music:
I'm a 90's baby!! I loved all pop, Mandy Moore, 98 degrees, Backstreet Boys, to name a few.
Favorite football movie:
Remember The Titans. I cry every time!
Worst pickup line you have ever heard:
Guy: "Can I use your phone".then he calls his number so mine can be stored in his call log. Pretty bad.
Favorite Little Debbie Cake:
Strawberry Shortcake Rolls; the best!
Name a book you read recently. Did you like it?:
I'm currently reading Leslie Feinberg's Stone Butch Blues. It is the first book to ever move me to tears; it's inspirational and a must read for everyone.
How do you like your crawfish? Mild, hot, or next day lip-burning hot:
Lip burning hot!!! With a soda for an extra kick!
Favorite VooDoo player:
Marlon Favorite. He was our defensive coach for Team Voodoostuff.com in the Preauxs versus Jeauxs charity flag football game. He taught me a lot about football in a short amount of time.
Favorite movie quote:
