Beijing Aoshen Olympian News Release

Los Angeles, CA. The ABA Beijing Aoshen Olympian, a perennial ABA power, will be visiting the State of Texas and other midwestern cities in February. According to Joe Newman, ABA CEO, "The Beijing team is very strong and very popular and is interested in competing with the best teams in the ABA in addition to competing with the strong west coast teams. So, we've arranged for them to play the #1 ranked Southeast Texas Mustangs, the #2 ranked Texas Fuel, the #4 ranked Nashville Broncs and other strong teams in a seven game series in February."

"It has been necessary for us to re-arrange the schedule somewhat to accommodate these inter-divisional games, but we believe it will be well worth it. Beijing has a couple of the best players in the ABA in Toby Bailey and Jamal Staten to complement several players who played on the Chinese National team," added Newman. "While the exact dates and times have not been set, the first series will be with the Kentucky Bisons, the Knoxville Thunderbolt and the Nashville Broncs. And then, it will be the Mustangs, Fuel, Houston Takers and the West Texas Whirlwind; we might even include the Texas City Rangers. Please check the various websites for game dates and times."
