January 12, 2009 - American Basketball Association (ABA)
Las Vegas Aces News Release
Las Vegas, NV. The ABA Las Vegas Aces defeated the Inland Empire 5 Linx in overtime by a score of 158 to 157 in one of the ABA's highest scoring games of the season. The 5 Linx have just joined the league and put a great battle against one of the ABA's best teams - a sign of good things to come in the future while the Aces are making a move up in the ABA Power Rankings.
Lou Kelly was the high scorer with 42 points and received the game MVP award. Patrick Savoy had 25 points, Mychal Johnson 24 and Johnny McClenton had 20. 5 Linx's T. Williams and former NBA Golden State warrior and team owner Tony Farmer had 34 points each.
Due to a 4th quarter injury, it appears that Lou Kelly will be out for about three weeks. He had scored 47 points in his previous game - and is one of the leading scorer's in the ABA. For more information, visit www.2kaces.com or www.abalive.com.
