Bees Win in Walk-Off Fashion

Burlington, IA - After a disappointing loss to Clinton on Sunday, the Bees responded with a 10-8 win Monday in 10 innings on a walk-off home run by Rashun Dixon. The home run was his sixth of the season.

The Bees offense was led by Wade Kirkland who went 3-for-3 with a home run, three runs scored, and three RBI. Sean Jamieson added a home run and two RBI as well.

Max Perlman got the start on the mound for the Bees and went seven innings, allowing five runs and striking out five. Jose Macias blew a save in the 9th inning, but picked up the win by throwing a scoreless 10th.
