Bees Welcome Ducks to New Britain for First Time

In 140 Characters or Less: The Bees welcome the Long Island Ducks to New Britain Stadium for the first time ever to start a 3-game series! First pitch 6:35 tonight!

Series: The Bees (1-3) and Ducks (0-4) will play a three game series. Tuesday night's game will begin at 6:35, with Wednesday's game starting at the special time of 10:35 AM for the first School Day game of the season.

The Bees: New Britain dropped three of four to the York Revolution in the opening series of the 2016 season. The team will finish off the first homestead of the year against the Ducks before hitting the road for the first time to take on the in-state rival Bridgeport Bluefish.

The Opposition: The Ducks enter the series with an 0-4 record with all four losses coming against the defending league champion Somerset Patriots. The team is managed by former major leaguer Kevin Baez.

Key to the Game - Keep the Line Moving: Bees' pitchers have thrown the ball very well over the first four games of the season, posting a collective 1.25 ERA and striking out 33 in 36 innings. Look for the staff to continue its early season success into the three-game set against the Ducks.
