
Bees Fall to Aces 8-6

Salt Lake Bees News Release
The Salt Lake Bees dropped an 8-6 decision to the Reno Aces on Saturday night. Reno led 3-0 when the Bees tied the game in the seventh inning. Zach Humphreys and Jared Oliva each walked, and Michael Stefanic singled to load the bases. David Fletcher drew a base on balls to force in the first run and Trey Cabbage tied the game with a two run double. Reno regained the lead on a one out grand slam by Kyle Lewis off of Jimmy Herget (1-2). Salt Lake would get a 469 foot three run homer from Cabbage in the top of the ninth to close the gap.
For Cabbage, this was his first five RBI game of the season. Fletcher would add two hits and one RBI. Salt Lake starter Cesar Valdez went five innings and allowed three runs on seven hits with three strikeouts and three walks.
