April 18, 2010 - Pacific Coast League (PCL1)
Salt Lake Bees News Release

Michael Ryan capped off a six-run rally in the bottom of the ninth with a three-run homer to give the Salt Lake Bees a 10-7 win over the Tacoma Rainiers on Sunday afternoon. Terry Evans started the comeback against Tacoma closer Chad Cordero with a homerun to left center. Ryan Budde followed with a single and advanced to third on a single to right by pinch hitter Hank Conger. Peter Bourjos reached on an error with Budde scoring to make it a 7-6 game and then pinch runner Nick Gorneault scored the tying run on a single by Freddy Sandoval before Ryan belted a 1-1 pitch well beyond the right field wall to win the game.

Ryan had two hits with three runs batted in to extend his hitting streak to nine games, as did Cory Aldridge with two hits, including a homer. Mark Trumbo and Gary Patchett also each added two hits and one run batted in. Bourjos singled in the sixth to extend his hitting streak to eight games. The Bees bullpen was magnificent in relief of struggling starter Trevor Reckling, who was touched for seven runs, six earned in three innings. Rich Thompson worked four scoreless innings followed by Jeremy Hill, who gave up a leadoff double in the eighth and then retired the next three batters. Rafael Rodriguez (1-1) tossed a 1-2-3 ninth and picked up the win, as the Bees snap a three-game skid.
