Appleton, WI (May 5, 2009) - The Burlington Bees registered just three hits Tuesday night in a 2-0 loss to Wisconsin. The game was the first of ten consecutive contests away from home for the Bees.
Wisconsin scored their first run of the night in the bottom of the first inning. With two outs, Brett Lawrie hit a solo homerun to give Wisconsin a 1-0 lead. The score remained 1-0 until the fifth inning when the Timber Rattlers added one more run for their 2-0 lead.
