Omaha Beef News Release

Omaha, NE - If you've ever wanted to dance for a professional football team, your chance is here. The Omaha Beef professional indoor football team will be holding auditions for the 2008 edition of the Omaha Prime Dancers on Saturday, December 8 and Sunday, December 9.

The tryouts will take place at 24-Hour Fitness, 2718 N. 118th Circle, in Omaha, over both days, beginning at noon. The cost is $10 for pre-registration or $15 on the day of tryouts.

The Prime Dancers are a select group of women, at least 18 years of age, who help entertain the fans during home games. Not only does the team dance at games, they are active in the Omaha area as they represent the Beef at local events and charitable causes. The team is comprised of the best Omaha has to offer from full-time students to successful business owners. These women boast a number of talents in addition to their love of dance.

Katie Fuller, a four-year veteran of the Prime Dancers, said the team is crucial to the Beef's success during the season.

"We perform and are visible at all seven home games," Fuller said. "In addition, we do special appearances by performing in the Omaha community."

The Prime Dancers were awarded the 2005 "Dance Team of the Year" in United Indoor Football. A former Prime Dancer, Carmen, is currently a Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader.

Application packets can be picked up at the Beef office in the Omaha Civic Auditorium, 1804 Capitol Avenue, during regular business hours until December 6. The application is also accessible via the Beef's website, www.beeffootball.com, under the Omaha Prime tab entitled "Tryout Information." Completed applications should contain a 3x5 photo and need to be returned to the Beef office as soon as possible or turned in day of the tryouts.

The Omaha Beef will begin their ninth season in professional indoor football in March 2008. All home games will be played at the Omaha Civic Auditorium. The Beef are a member of the United Indoor Football Association, the premier indoor football league in America. For more information, log on to www.beeffootball.com.
