QB Joshua Floyd, Jr. with the Dodge City Law

Omaha, NE, October 6, 2015 - The Omaha Beef are making the most when it comes to preparing for the upcoming 2016 season. Today, the Beef have signed former Dodge City QB Joshua Floyd Jr., one of the hottest quarterbacks in the Indoor game today.
Floyd played with the Dodge City Law during the 2015 season. His statistics show what an outstanding player Floyd has been over the past few seasons. During the 12 games of the 2015 season, Floyd passed for 1658 yards with 30 Touchdowns and only 9 Interceptions, a key stat in the arena field. He also amassed 548 yards rushing on the ground with 15 Touchdowns, showing he is a proven threat thru the air and on the ground. Floyd had this to say when signing with the Beef today:
"It's a new start for myself and the Omaha Beef organization. It feels good to be apart of this great organization and the turn around for 2016 is going to be amazing. Time to go get that ring!"
Floyd, nicknamed "Superman", got thrown into the quarterback position early into the 2014 season with the Law after the team's two main quarterbacks were injured. He immediately took control of the team and helped lead Dodge City to the playoffs in its inaugural season. The Law lost in the first round of the playoffs. Floyd also earned second-team all-league honors that year as he completed 104 of 179 passes for 1,374 yards and 22 touchdowns with only eight interceptions. He also rushed for 394 yards and 16 touchdowns in 2014.
