Beats, Cleats and Eats to Debut at MLS All-Star Week

Los Angeles - Coca-Cola - in partnership with Major League Soccer (MLS) - will debut a new event designed to refresh both avid soccer fans and the surrounding community. Beats, Cleats and Eats , a free, public, outdoor event, will take place on August 24 and 25 and will be conveniently located in Exposition Park's Outdoor Plaza between the California Science Center and the California African American Museum. Celebrating the energy of the summer soccer spotlight, Beats, Cleats and Eats is part of a week of fan experiences before the 2021 MLS All-Star Game presented by Target on Wednesday, August 25.

This inaugural Beats, Cleats and Eats showcase is the first iteration in what is planned to be an annual event designed to complement and enhance MLS All-Star Week. Coca-Cola will curate a fun and fresh space where fans can experience aspects of cultural fusion which are unique to the game of soccer and the passions of supporters.

A wide range of programming will bring to life the three pillars within the namesake of the event. Popular Los Angeles DJ Demi Lobo will serve as the anchor to set the scene, mixing a variety of tracks and musical styles over the two days, while the headline musical act, Grammy-nominated artist Ant Clemons, is scheduled to perform live to close out the event following the MLS All-Star Game presented by Target.

Unique culinary offerings will be available for purchase in partnership with Los Angeles favorite Border Grill, served with complimentary Coca-Cola product pairings. Among the available complimentary beverages will be samples of the new Coca-Cola Zero Sugar, giving MLS fans the opportunity to taste for themselves to see if it is the "Best Coke Ever?"

The style of the beautiful game will be showcased by a combination of MLS player appearances, freestyle performances, as well as soccer-themed interactives, games, prizes and displays. The event will also feature live, on-stage broadcasts of The Call Up, an official MLS Podcast, and MLS All-Star Today presented by Target.

MLS stars battle the best of Liga MX at the 2021 MLS All-Star Game presented by Target. The game will be broadcast in the U.S. on FS1 and Univision, in Canada on TSN and TVA Sports, and throughout Mexico and Latin America on ESPN.
