
Bears Reschedule Two Postponed Games

NEWARK, NJ, August 16-Newark Bears Vice-President and General Manager Chris Bryan announced today that the club has rescheduled two games that were postponed earlier this season at Bears and Eagles Riverfront Stadium.
The Bears game originally scheduled against the Pennsylvania Road Warriors for August 14, 2003, which was postponed because of a blackout in the Newark area, will be made up as part of a doubleheader on Friday, September 12, 2003 at Bears and Eagles Riverfront Stadium. The doubleheader will begin at 6:05 PM that evening.
The contest between the Newark Bears and Somerset Patriots, which was originally scheduled to be played on Tuesday, July 22, 2003, has been rescheduled as part of a doubleheader at Bears and Eagles Riverfront Stadium on Wednesday, September 3, 2003 beginning at 11:05 AM.
Tickets from either postponed game may be exchanged for any other game on the Bears 2003 home schedule. Fans with ticketing questions may call the Bears ticket office at (973) 483-6900.
