Bears Push Wolves to Brink of Elimination with 3-1 Victory

Bruce Richardson scored the game winning goal as the Bears took a 2 games to 1 lead in the Western Conference Quarterfinals with a 3-1 in over Chicago. The win came with head coach Mike Foligno ill and unable to coach the game. Assistant coach Paul Fixter took over the coaching reigns and won his first AHL game. Bears President and General Manager Doug Yingst assisted Fixter on the bench for the victory. Bryan Muir was named the game's number one star with a goal and an assist, and Brad Larsen added an empty net goal to give the Bears the victory.

Game 4 is Sunday night at GIANT Center at 6:00 p.m. HERSHEY can advance to the Western Conference Semifinals with a victory over the defending Calder Cup Champions. Air time on BIG 92.7 FM is at 5:40 p.m.
