
Bears keep rolling with a 5-1 win over Worcester

HERSHEY caps off a 6-1 homestand with five straight goals to down the Worcester IceCats 5-1 on Sunday night at GIANT Center. The win brought the BEARS back to the .500 mark and within just five points of Norfolk in the East Division standings.
Carl Corazzini opened the scoring for HERSHEY in the first minute of the second period with assists from Mathieu Darche and Marek Svatos. Eric Perrin scored the game-winner at the 9:20 mark of the second to give the BEARS a 2-1 lead. Martin Wilde and Nick Naumenko also scored goals in the win. Peter Budaj won his sixth game in a row, a new personal best. Budaj made 33 saves to earn the victory.
HERSHEY will not play at home again until Saturday, January 15 against the Norfolk Admirals. The team plays at Albany this Wednesday and Friday at Pepsi Arena.
