Bears Fall in Bridgeport, 3-1

Kevin Colley registered a goal and two assists as the Sound Tigers defeated the BEARS 3-1 at the Arena at Harbor Yard. Bridgeport broke on top of the BEARS in the second period with the eighth goal of the season by Kevin Colley. D.J. Smith then tied a career high by scoring his seventh goal of the season midway through the second period. The goal by Smith broke a scoreless drought of 126 minutes, 39 seconds dating back to the second period of Friday's 4-2 win over the Hartford Wolfpack. The Sound Tigers then picked up the game winner in the third period when Blaine Down scored his third goal of the season. Ben Guite added an empty netter to round out the scoring.

The BEARS wrap up the current five game road trip Friday night in Syracuse at 7:30 p.m.
