Beacons Partner with Wright & Filippis For Tailgate for Tots

PORT HURON, MI- The Port Huron Beacons are proud to be partnering with Wright & Filippis for "Tailgate For Tots," a charitable fundraiser for Port Huron Families in need.
The event kicks off on Sunday December 12th at Damon's Grill from noon till the end of the Detroit Lion's game vs. the Green Bay Packers. Come and watch the Lion's while supporting needy Port Huron children for the holidays.
Joining the fun at Damon's Grill will be Goldie Goldthorpe, who will be in town for the whole weekend. "Ogie Oglethorpe" from the classic movie "Slapshot" was based on Goldthorpe. He will be appearing Saturday December 11th when the Beacons take on Quad City.
There will be games including, Interactive Football during the Lion's game, as well as several items up for auction, including, a Dominik Hasek autographed jersey, Beacons autographed jersey as well as a Beacons game pack.
Damon's Grill will graciously donate a portion of the day's sales to "Tailgate for Tots."
Wright & Filippis specializes in specific health equipment including items like prosthetics, orthodics, and respiratory equipment.
Anyone who brings a stuffed animal or toy to the December 11th game will receive $2 off their ticket.
