B.C. Lions News Release
(Vancouver) - The BC Lions Football Club is very pleased to announce a special ticket offer in conjunction with 7-Eleven beginning today at locations across the Lower Mainland.
The all-new 7-Eleven Zone, available for all Lions home games this season, gives fans the best value to catch all the hard-hitting Lions action at the world-class BC Place stadium. For only $76 including all taxes and fees, fans receive two Touchdown End Zone seats in the new 7-Eleven Zone, a savings of $10 off a pair of regular-priced game tickets. These special tickets are only available at 7-Eleven locations in the Lower Mainland, while supplies last.
"We're really pleased to partner with 7-Eleven to offer the best priced tickets in BC Place for the upcoming season," said Lions president and CEO Dennis Skulsky. "Fans will get tremendous value and enjoy being in the 7-Eleven Zone while catching all the hard-hitting action of Lions football."
The Leos are coming off a dominating 44-10 preseason win over the Saskatchewan Roughriders on Wednesday night and look ready to defend their Grey Cup title in 2012. The club opens the 2012 regular season with a Grey Cup rematch against the Winnipeg Blue Bombers on Friday, June 29th. That night, the club will be unveiling their 2011 championship banner in a special pre-game ceremony. As well, all eyes will be on superstar receiver Geroy Simon as he pursues the CFL's all-time receiving yards mark. The Lions then face the new-look Hamilton Tiger-Cats at home on Friday, July 6th.
"Last season's return to BC Place and the excitement of a championship run was incredible for our fans and showcased what true home field advantage is all about. Thanks to our partners at 7-Eleven, we are able to provide great value to our current fans as well as provide new fans with the opportunity to experience the excitement of live BC Lions football," added Skulsky.
BC Lions Training Camp presented by Sun Peaks Resort is underway at Hillside Stadium in Kamloops, BC through Wednesday, June 20th.
