Erie, Pennsylvania - The Erie BayHawks returned home in style with a decisive victory over the visiting Sioux Falls Skyforce on Friday night. Erie (11-13) led the entire way and were paced by guard D.J. Kennedy's stellar performance. Kennedy led the way with 13 points and season highs in rebounds (15) and assists (8).

Behind Kennedy's seven first quarter points and seven rebounds, the BayHawks got off to a hot start, scoring the game's first seven points before stretching a first quarter lead to eleven. Sioux Falls closed the gap to one with under a minute to go in the first half before Erie scored the half's final four points, taking a 44-39 lead into the break.

The Skyforce tied the game a few minutes into the second half before Erie bounced back to take a nine point advantage into the final stanza. In the fourth quarter, Erie held it's largest lead (15) before finishing the game twelve points ahead, 94-82.

Erie's leading scorer was Tirrell Baines (20 points, 6 rebounds). Kyle Goldcamp also pitched in with a double-double (15 points, 13 rebounds). Newcomers Devin Brown (16 points) and Keith McLeod (14 points, 5 assists) also played in integral roll for the BayHawks. Dominique Coleman led Sioux Falls (7-18) with a double-double (15 points, 10 rebounds) in a losing effort. Four other Skyforce members scored double figure point totals.

The two teams will square off again Saturday night at 7:00 pm as the BayHawks welcome the New York Knicks City Dancers and Knick City Kids to town for Knicks Affiliate Night, presented by Penelec.
