BayHawks Balanced Attack Tames Toros

ERIE - The Erie BayHawks (23-19) utilized a balanced scoring attack with all seven players who logged minutes, in double figures and finished with a strong fourth quarter of out distance the Austin Toros (26-14) 114 - 106.

Once again Maureece Rice had the hot hand for the Bayhawks finishing with a team high 26 points and MVP candidate Erik Daniels added his league high 26th double-double with 22 points and 12 assists.

Quincy Douby earned his first start and notched 18 points and Darnell Jackson, on assignment from the Cleveland Cavaliers, added 15.

Recently acquired DeMarcus Nelson had a game high 27 points for the Toros with Marcus Williams adding 26 points. The Toros finished with six players in double figures.

The BayHawks hit the road to take on the Utah Flash, Friday and The Albuquerque Thunderbirds, Sunday with tip off for both games set for 9:00 PM. Fans can follow all of the action on the Futurecast video streaming from the link on ErieBayHawks.com or by listening to the game of JET Radio 1400 AM.

The BayHawks return home for a game versus the Colorado 14ers, Friday March 27, at the Tullio Arena, tip off set for 7 PM. The first one thousand fans will receive a set of thundersticks courtesy of Burger King. The team squares off against the Los Angeles D-Fenders, Sunday, March 29 with a special tip off time set for 2 PM. The special Faith & Family game will feature $8 Main Level tickets and $1 Hot Dogs courtesy of Smith Provisions.
