The push for the third straight Southern League Championship has begun. The final series of the regular season begins today Thursday, August 29th against the cross-bay rival Pensacola Blue Wahoos. It is time to start the drive for the threepeat.
WHAT'S HAPPENING THIS SERIES:
Thursday, August 29th (7:05 p.m.) - Irish Heritage, Wings Cook Off and Thirsty Thursday. We will be celebrating everything Irish tonight, from food to superstition. Come out and sample some of Mobile's best wings. We will have drink specials, $1 Natural Light and $1.50 Budweiser, from 6-8 p.m.
Friday, August 30th (7:05 p.m.) - Back to School, Fan Appreciation, BayFest and Friday Fireworks. The BayBears have partnered with the University of Mobile to Pack the Pack and distribute school supplies at the game. All night long we will be thanking our fans with prizes, including BayFest tickets! AND we will have the best fireworks in the Southern League after the game.
Saturday, August 31st (7:05 p.m.) - Alabama Football and SEC Night. The BayBears will be screening the Alabama football game on the big screen pregame with gates opening at 4 p.m. We will be opening the Stadium Club to all fans to come and enjoy some college football before the BayBears game! The night is also dedicated to college football and the SEC. Be sure to check out the BayBears Facebook page for discounted ticket offers!
Sunday, September 1st (5:05 p.m.) - NFL Sunday, Yellow Day, Bark in the Park and Bay B. Bear's Birthday. It is football season and the BayBears encourage fans come decked out in their favorite NFL gear. The BayBears will be recognizing the upcoming movie Yellow Day. Be sure to bring your dog! Don't have a dog? No worries, we will have some up for adoption at the game. We will also be celebrating Bay B. Bear's birthday with Gigi's cupcakes and fun.
Monday, September 2nd (12:05 p.m.) - Labor Day. What's more American than baseball on Labor Day? Not much. It is the last game of the regular season, so come and cheer on the BayBears as they get ready to make their big playoff push!
It is time to bring a dynasty to Alabama, and it starts now in Mobile. Come on down to watch the last regular season series and get pumped for the Southern League playoffs next week.
