BayBears and Mudcats Rained Out in Zebulon

ZEBULON, N.C. - Tuesday's contest between the Mobile BayBears and Carolina Mudcats has been postponed because of rain. The series will begin on Wednesday at 4 p.m. central time with a doubleheader, consisting of two seven-inning ballgames. Right-handers Cody Evans (2-2, 4.84) and Matt Torra (1-1, 4.00) are expected to pitch for the BayBears.
This is the first rainout for the BayBears this season. Their first in 2008 came on May 23 when they were scheduled to play the Montgomery Biscuits at Hank Aaron Stadium. The BayBears have only one victory in franchise history on Cinco de Mayo.
The BayBears are coming off a successful series in Jacksonville where they took four out of five from the Suns after a 5-3 victory on Monday afternoon.
