
Battle Creek comes from behind to defeat Chicago

Chicago, IL- Rashi Johnson had a game high 38 as Battle Creek had to come from behind to defeat Chicago 121-95.
The game was close to even for the first three quarters of the contest as the Knights led by three after one; went down two at the intermission and came back to tie the game going into the fourth quarter. In the fourth, the Knights outscored the Throwbacks 42-17 as Chicago simply could not keep up with the run and gun offense of the Knights.
With the victory, Battle Creek moves to 17-2 on the season and have long since clinched the best record in the Premier Basketball League. The Knights will take on the winner of the Vermont/Wilmington play-in game in the first round of the playoffs that will start next week.
For the Knights, Johnson had 38 with Kenny Langhorne tossing in 32. For Chicago, Casey Love lead the way with 28; Anthony Simmons added 21 for the Throwbacks who drop to 6-13 on the year.
Battle Creek wraps up the regular season on Saturday night as they head to Buffalo to take on the Stampede. Chicago wraps up their season on Saturday afternoon as they head to Rochester to take on the RazorSharks in a 2:05 Eastern Time start.
