Battle Creek Battle Jacks News Release
Battle Creek, Mich. - Battle Creek is known around the country as "Cereal City U.S.A." It only makes sense that the Battle Creek Bombers are partnering with Post Foods this summer with the team's Fruity Pebbles-inspired jersey.
The Post Fruity Pebbles jersey will be worn July 9 against the Mankato Moondogs during Cereal City Night, presented by the Battle Creek Enquirer. Promotions that night include a Bombers cereal bowl giveaway, sponsored by Meijer, and entertainment from The Amazing Christopher.
"We couldn't be more excited to partner with Post Cereals on this groundbreaking and eye-catching Fruity Pebbles jersey," said Tony Iovieno, general manager of the Battle Creek Bombers. "Battle Creek truly is the cereal capital of the world and this is a fantastic way to celebrate our heritage along with a first-class community partner in Post Cereals. We cannot thank Post Cereals enough for believing and investing in this community, our franchise, and this unique idea."
Fans can purchase their own Post Fruity Pebbles game-worn jersey during a silent auction, which will take place during the July 9 contest at C.O. Brown Stadium. The team's single game tickets go on sale this Friday, April 29, but fans can guarantee tickets to the team's top weekend dates (including July 9) of the season by purchasing the Bombers new 5-game pack. Five-game packs are $59 and include reserved seats at the team's five (5) best games with all-you-can-eat food and beverages, along with guaranteed giveaways.
