BATTLE CREEK, MI - The Battle Creek Bombers are excited to announce the hiring of Bryan Moses as field manager for the 2016 season. Moses will replace Head Coach Robbie Robinson. The Brown University assistant coach comes to the Bombers with more than a decade of coaching experience.

Said Moses, "I'm honored and humbled to be the Field Manager for Bombers and excited to be part of the 10th year anniversary. I can't wait get started on what will be a very successful season in Battle Creek."

Before accepting his position with Brown, he was on the coaching staff at California State University Northridge and served as head coach at the University of Antelope Valley in Lancaster, Calif., where he led the Pioneers to a record of 98-64 over four seasons. Moses started his collegiate coaching career in 2009 with Simpson University in Redding, Calif. At Simpson, he led the team to a 2010 playoff run where they knocked the number one seed out of the conference tournament.

Moses spent two years coaching the Redding Colt 45's, a summer collegiate baseball team competing in the Far West Conference. In 2014, he helped the team to a 33-13 record.

"We are thrilled to bring Bryan to Battle Creek this summer to lead the Bombers on the field. He has impressed the entire organization in a short amount of time and we are eager to host him and his staff here this summer," said Tony Iovieno, general manager for the Bombers.

Prior to moving to the collegiate ranks, Moses pursued a teaching career and was the head baseball coach at Skyline High School in Idaho Falls, Idaho. As a player, he attended Casa Grande High School and continued his baseball career at Santa Rosa Junior College. A middle infielder, Coach Moses moved on to Sonoma State University and graduated with a degree in communications. He has since completed his master's degree in physical education and recreation at Western Kentucky University and is currently pursuing his doctorate in sport management from Concordia University of Chicago.

Bryan resides in Providence, R.I. with his fiance Breanna.
