Bathe Has AHL Debut

Rugged right winger Landon Bathe of the Macon Trax has taken his first step on the next rung of the hockey ladder.

Bathe, who played in 54 games for the Trax this season, appeared in the final three games of the regular season for the Milwaukee Admirals of the American Hockey League. Milwaukee is the top farm team for the Nashville Predators of the National Hockey League.

Bathe played for the Admirals in their 3-1 over the Cleveland Barons on April 3rd, a 2-1 win over the Utah Grizzlies on April 5th, and a 3-2 overtime loss to Utah on April 6th. He had no points, six penalty minutes and had an even plus minus rating in the three games.

With the Trax, Bathe who turns 21 on Wednesday, had 12 goals and 15 assists for 27 points. He was +9 and led the Trax with 207 penalty minutes.

Bathe remains in residence with Milwaukee and is available as an emergency replacement player for the Admirals' best of three playoff series with the Rochester Americans that begins Thursday night in Milwaukee.

The Trax office at 433 Cherry Street will re open for business on Monday April 14th. The Trax summer office hours will be 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
