
Barracudas Win Streak Reaches Six

MACON, Fla. â It's been a season of streaks for the Jacksonville Barracudas and their latest win streak has reached six games with a 5-2 win over the Macon Trax.
Jay McCabe had the best game of his professional career as he led the Cudas with a goal and three assists. John McCabe added a goal and an assist. Chad Gromek, Andrew Oke, and Derek Toninato scored the other Barracudas goals.
Rookie goaltender Randy Hevey had another great night in goal stopping 24 shots to pick up his fifth win of the season.
The first place Barracudas (17-5-1, 35 points) travel to Orlando to battle the second place Seals (15-5-2, 32 points). Orlando beat Lakeland, on the road, 6-0 tonight. The Cudas are only one win away from reaching 18 wins; the total number of wins all of last season.
The Barracudas return home on Sunday night to battle the Miami Manatees with a special face-off time of 6:05. It's Family Night. You can buy four great lower bowl tickets, and get four hats for only $49.00.
"Hockey on the River," the Inaugural WHA2 All-Star Game is coming to Jacksonville on Tuesday, January 27th. The Jacksonville Barracudas host the best of the WHA2.
