Miami Manatees News Release

The Manatees are putting their money where their mouth is by announcing a guaranteed win night. Miami has lost in regulation time only once on home ice this season.

For the upcoming home-game on Saturday, January 17th against the Lakeland Loggerheads, the Manatees will guarantee that they will emerge victorious. In the event of a loss, everyone in attendance will get a free ticket for the Sunday, January 18th rematch against Lakeland.

"With a home record of 8-1-1, we are of course confident in the team Coach Boyer has assembled. But at the same time, we are about having fun and we think this promotion will add to the enjoyment of all our fans." General Manager Shawn Thorimbert said.

SUNDAY GAME TIME CHANGES

General Manager Shawn Thorimbert also announced that effective immediately, all Sunday home games for the remainder of the season will be moved from 7:30pm to 5:00pm.

"We felt that moving the games to earlier in the day will help the many families with kids who usually try to have them home at an earlier time. In addition, this move will enable us to schedule more post-game activities, such as skating with the team." Thorimbert said.

Individual and Group Tickets for the Miami Manatees are now on sale. For further information, The Miami Manatees face off against the Alabama Slammers, Jacksonville Barracudas, Lakeland Loggerheads, Macon Trax, and Orlando Seals in the WHA2's inaugural season. All games are broadcast on www.irn.fm.
