Barracudas Team Up With "Let Us Play" Foundation
February 7, 2006 - SPHL (SPHL)
Jacksonville Barracudas News Release
Continuing their commitment to the North Florida community, the Jacksonville Barracudas have joined forces with the "Let Us Play Foundation" to raise funds for the youth-focused charity.
During all three games this week, the Barracudas will have a table set up in the Arena concourse where fans can purchase 10-ticket voucher booklets for $130.00. For each booklet purchased, the Barracudas will donate $20.00 to the "Let Us Play Foundation".
The booklets contain 10 ticket vouchers good for any game during the Barracudas' season. The vouchers can be used in any combination, so one person can go to ten games, ten people can go to one game, or any combination in between.
The "Let Us Play Foundation" was formed to fill the void in athletic opportunities for the youth of our community. The emphasis of the Foundation is to promote involvement in athletics and encourage the good health and consistent work ethic associated with participation in sports. You can visit the Foundation's website at www.letusplay.org for further details on the Foundation and their activities.
The Barracudas return home on Tuesday, February 7th, which will be Credit Union Night, as they take on the Columbus Cottonmouths. They also have games Thursday night against the Pee Dee Cyclones, and Saturday night against the Knoxville Ice Bears.
All games are played at the Jacksonville Veterans Memorial Arena, and start at 7:05pm. Please contact the Barracudas office at 367-1423 for more details on tickets and group packages, or purchase tickets at www.ticketmaster.com, or at the Arena box office.
