
Barracudas Sign Goaltender

The Jacksonville Barracudas are continuing preparations for a run at the playoffs. This past weekend the Barracudas signed goaltender Justin Johnson, fresh off of a stellar NCAA career at the hockey powerhouse University of Minnesota.
In order to make room for Johnson, the Barracudas have placed goaltender Mykola Voroshonov on waivers. Through 6 appearances with the team, Voroshonov had two losses, a goals against average of 7.19, and a .849 save percentage.
In his final season with the Minnesota Golden Gophers, Johnson picked up 7 wins, 3 losses, and a tie. He held a goals against average of 2.34, and a save percentage of .914.
The Barracudas return home on Tuesday, February 7th, which will be Credit Union Night, as they take on the Columbus Cottonmouths. All games are played at the Jacksonville Veterans Memorial Arena, and start at 7:05pm.
