
Barracudas Fall to Ice Bears' Comeback

The Jacksonville Barracudas let their three point lead slip away to the Knoxville Ice Bears Thursday night. Todd MacIsaac picked up the winning goal in overtime for the Ice Bears, leaving the Barracudas with a 5-4 loss.
Sean Ritchlin led the Barracudas to a strong start with the first goal of the game, assisted by Chad Peck.
Jamie Miller and Kory Baker took over early in the second period, each scoring one goal. The come-from-behind victory for the Ice Bears was jumpstarted by Jim Bermingham midway through the second period.
Following three more goals Knoxville, Paul Vincent, scored for the Barracudas on a power play, sending the game into overtime.
A minute and 21 seconds into overtime, Center Todd MacIsaac scored for Knoxville to finish up the game.
The Barracudas face the Ice Bears again this evening in Knoxville and will head back to the Sunshine State to play the Orlando Seals on Saturday at TD Waterhouse Center in Orlando.
